The title M.O.V.E. actually comes from a shortened form of four very important action words:
Missions, Outreach, Visitation, and Evangelism. In the end, each word communicates God’s love in one way or another. Each word conveys action. When joined together, they are the power of action. People with a passion for following Christ’s instruction to take the good news throughout the world are drawn to M.O.V.E. Men and women of all ages are likely to serve here.
Not only are these people personally engaged in the work of missions, outreach, visitation, and evangelism; they are inspired to help others mature in the faith and to find their respective places in sharing the love of God throughout the world. M.O.V.E. identifies ministry opportunities, plans mission activities and encourages others to service. The goal is to involve every church member in at least one mission activity during the year. M.O.V.E. doesn’t act in isolation, but partners with other church ministries such as: Sunday morning worship, Sunday School, Baptist Men and Baptist Women's to take the good news into the world.
